Young Writers' School Year Workshop Series

 

The Young Writers' Group was founded at The Literacy Coach Reading and Writing Center as a way to gather creatives whose medium is or could be words.  In this group, we will write, share, examine techniques, explore appreciate the power of words in all types of writing.  Students will continue their work on projects for the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.

Facilitated discussion and exercises that hone each writer's craft in character and plot development, writing with voice, building a point-of-view and more, are sure to engage and inspire our writers.

 

Thursday evenings, 6:30-8: 30 pm, $30 per workshop

Beginning September 17th, 2020

Instructor: Dawn Florino, Ed.D. candidate, Certified Reading/Writing Specialist, in conjunction with the National Writing Project, NH

This year, we have planned author, illustrator and artist visits, and writers' contest entries! Look for BONUS workshops announced through Facebook Events throughout the year!
